Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair Ford automatic and manual transmission systems
Perform transmission rebuilds, replacements, and warranty repairs
Accurately document repairs and diagnostics in accordance with Ford and dealership standards
Utilize Ford diagnostic tools and service information
Maintain productivity, efficiency, and quality workmanship
Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
Work collaboratively with service advisors and fellow technicians
Qualification
Required
Current Ford certification in Transmission Repair (required)
Minimum 3–5 years of transmission repair experience
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform heavy mechanical repairs
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
Preferred
ASE certifications a plus
