Responsibilities
Assist in debugging software products by maintaining and optimizing systematic tests used to develop and maintain quality standards for firm products
Ensure that software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing are efficient and effective, and report to senior engineers with suggestions for improvement
Identify and implement improvement opportunities for test strategies, standards and procedures. Collaborate with other team members to ensure alignment with leading practices
Manage the documentation of test results, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date, and make it accessible to relevant stakeholders
Help to identify and implement improvement opportunities to automate integration, test, and deployment of solution quality
Support continuous monitoring to proactively identify quality issues
Monitor and analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and assist the team in drafting corrective action
Provide support to development engineers in resolving incidents and problems
Support other team members in preparing technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software and provide feedback for the improvement of these appraisals
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or in lieu of a degree, at least 4 years of experience in quality assurance engineering or software testing
2-4 years of experience in quality assurance engineering or software testing
Moderate understanding of software testing standards, policies, methodologies, tools, and processes
Preferred
Quality Assurance certifications
Proficient in Agile Methodology, DevOps, Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Extensive hands-on experience with Jira, Zephyr Scale, Confluence, GitHub, SQL, Oracle, and Web Services & APIs
Skilled in risk-based testing and metrics-driven quality assurance approaches
Hands-on performance testing UIs and APIs with tools like Apache JMeter
2+ years of experience with Java
2+ years of experience with Selenium Web Driver
Previous experience with Cucumber
Previous experience with TestNG
Previous experience with Maven
Previous experience with Google, Edge and Firefox Web Browsers
