ELECTRONIC MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT MECHANIC (SSC)-TITLE 32
USAJOBS is seeking an Electronic Measurement Equipment Mechanic (SSC)-TITLE 32 for the KY CSMS, National Guard. The role involves planning and executing maintenance procedures for electronic measurement equipment, as well as overseeing shop operations and personnel.

Responsibilities
Plan and lay out work to be accomplished in the shop, which is then completed by the individual and lower graded worker(s)
Possess the knowledge and skills found at the journeyman level as well as those required for planning, accomplishing, and maintaining a functional shop maintenance program
Independently determine appropriate maintenance procedures such as how and when the work should be accomplished
Estimate manpower, equipment, and material requirements
Devise and maintain program plans and records
Use surveillance and troubleshooting techniques to determine maintenance/repair procedures needed without benefit of technical supervisory guidance
Plan, organize, and direct shop maintenance programs/procedures under general supervision
Determine approaches, methods, and courses of action required to accomplish the mission of the shop in an effective and efficient manner
May provide recommendations and input to the supervisor concerning personnel actions such as performance appraisals, awards, position description changes, disciplinary actions, leave, etc
Perform the same type and level of work as performed within the unit
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience which demonstrates a working knowledge of electronic principles involved in the generation and measurement of such elements as voltage, current, impedance, capacitance, frequency, and inductance
Experience using various precision measurement instruments and standards
Must have at least 18 months experience with application of operating principles such as the production and utilization of oscillations over a broad range of frequencies; signal and waveform behavior, distortion, and amplification; pulse, trigger, and synchronization techniques; digital/analog processing and data conversion techniques; and a variety of display and indication methods
Experience tracing signals and voltage paths, and skilled in the analysis of waveform characteristics such as timing, duration, frequency, and phasing
Experience originating test set-ups to isolate malfunctions and check performance characteristics of special or unique test panels or mockups
Experience interpreting and applying a variety of technical electronic information such as schematic symbols, mathematical expressions and formulas, calibration procedures, and other reference materials
Experience applying established techniques and methods of repair, testing, alignment, and calibration of equipment, which serves as test equipment or precision measurement standards
Experience utilizing electronic circuits to measure electronic or electrical quantities to determine the performance characteristics and accuracy of other instruments and equipment
Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment
