Responsibilities
Handle product/process development projects from inception through first article approval utilizing standard manufacturing processes as well as rapid prototype technologies
Develop and create written processes and instructions
Provide a structured approach to the identification and development of best practices within production areas
Assist in various aspects of development and lend technical assistance to various departments while complying with all safety and environmental rules and regulations
Ensure the preparation of parts and appropriate SOPs are followed to ensure customer specifications are met
Follow set specifications to ensure products are produced within process parameters, using a variety of tools, programs, and techniques
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Process Engineer
Expertise in product/process development projects from inception through first article approval
Ability to utilize standard manufacturing processes and rapid prototype technologies
Skill in developing and creating written processes and instructions
Structured approach to the identification and development of best practices within production areas
Technical assistance to various departments while complying with safety and environmental rules and regulations
Self-motivated with the ability to work with employees and management
Keen eye for detail to follow set specifications
Ability to ensure products are produced within process parameters using a variety of tools, programs, and techniques
