Service Operations & Quality Intern
Laerdal Medical is a company focused on operational and compliance functions in healthcare. The Service Operations, Quality & Regulatory Affairs Summer Intern will support meaningful projects while gaining hands-on experience in various operational areas, including service operations and quality affairs.
Responsibilities
Document departmental processes in collaboration with leadership
Organize and maintain departmental documentation to support efficient workflows
Research best practices, future operational needs, and AI concepts for field service operations
Present findings and recommendations to the leadership team
Support day‑to‑day departmental activities, contributing to strategic and operational tasks that drive continuous improvement
Participate in team meetings, offering innovative ideas and strategic input
Help develop communication best practices and templates to enhance departmental effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Intern must be available to commit to the entire summer internship (approximately May - August) and work up to five days a week in the Wappingers Falls, NY office (with reliable transportation and local housing). This position may be eligible for a hybrid work structure
Currently enrolled in an accredited four‑year college or university
Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without visa sponsorship
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong written, verbal, and active listening communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
Flexible and adaptable to changing assignments and priorities
Preferred
Participation in extracurricular activities is a plus
