Responsibilities

Develops and enforces QA/QC protocols for custodial operations, technical systems, and EHS standards
Conducts regular inspections of buildings, mechanical systems, utilities, and custodial services
Tracks and reports KPIs on cleanliness, system reliability, compliance rates, and safety incidents
Audits vendor performance against contract terms and service-level agreements
Collaborates with EHS staff to ensure OSHA, EPA, fire/life safety, and hazard communication compliance
Provides findings and corrective action recommendations to the Deputy Director and Executive Director
Leads training and awareness programs on service quality, safety, and regulatory requirements
Supports sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives in operations and custodial services
Maintains documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reporting
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental health, or facilities management
At least 5 years of QA/QC, custodial, or engineering operations experience
Expertise in QA/QC processes for facilities, custodial, and engineering systems
Strong knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and environmental health regulations
Ability to evaluate service quality and enforce accountability across teams and vendors
Effective communication, reporting, and training skills
Focus on proactive compliance, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills with focus on accountability and innovation
Commitment to service quality, timeliness, and the University's mission

Preferred

Certifications in OSHA, quality management systems, or EHS compliance
