Responsibilities
Lead and support civil engineering design for roadway, drainage, and water utility projects
Prepare all phases of design documents — from schematic layouts through final PS&E (Plans, Specifications & Estimates)
Perform engineering analyses, feasibility studies, and technical reports
Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates to support project planning
Develop designs using topographic, hydrologic, and geotechnical data
Perform and contribute to peer reviews to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
Provide construction phase support and observation as needed
Keep project leadership informed with clear progress updates
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license
8 - 10 years of civil engineering experience
Design-build project experience
Demonstrated success in roadway, drainage, and water utility design
Proven ability to develop complete PS&E packages from project initiation to construction submittal
Proficiency with engineering CAD software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform field construction observation when needed
Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the U.S
Experience with MicroStation, InRoads, or OpenRoads
Background in water distribution modeling and pump station design
