Managing a team of Software Engineers, QA professionals
Work closely with other IT managers
Primary owner of all aspects of software delivery
Insuring that requirements are clear
Planning and monitoring the data conversion
Development and delivery of integrations for applications with the client
Development and delivery of new features, reports, and interfaces
Interaction and visibility to our executive team
Mentoring, encouraging and managing developers and engineers through stressful projects
Qualification
Required
10 years plus of software development related management experience and experience implementing software applications with clients
Experience with implementing software and systems and being client facing
Experienced with current software design and development methodologies and architecture
Have experience with large data conversions moving from older solutions to new implementation
Experience with high transaction environments is a big plus
Experience with Real-time server programming, high availability environment programming and User interface implementations is a plus
Ability to mentor, encourage and manage developers and engineers through stressful projects
Knowledge of security concepts and industry standards
Very good communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred
Experience in high speed transaction systems like large retailer applications or financial transactions such as payment systems
Experience with transactional and high availability systems
