System Engineer
Advanced Navigation and Positioning Corporation (ANPC) is a global supplier of precision approach guidance and area surveillance solutions aimed at improving the safety and capacity of civil and military aviation. The Systems Engineer at ANPC designs, develops, integrates, and supports engineering systems developed for the Aerospace industry, focusing on system performance and verification testing.
Responsibilities
Develops the planning, organization, implementation and maintenance of requirements management processes to deliver safety critical systems
Evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance, functional and regulatory requirements
Model and analyze overall system requirements and performance, including top-down & bottom-up traceability of requirements to verification
Develop software and hardware architectures/partitioning, including definition of interfaces and use cases
Develop, perform and document system verification testing to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Coordinate with engineering functions to allocate and define lower-level requirements
Perform design analysis for proof-of-concept validation
Develop, maintain and optimize systems engineering processes
Support certification activities
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Aerospace, Systems engineering or equivalent
5+ years of experience in systems engineering
Software development experience required
Familiarity with software architecture required
Ability to develop hardware and software architectures
Experienced in product certifications – FAA is preferred

Ability to communicate effectively with management, customers and employees in a positive and professional manner
