Responsibilities
Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, with a focus on SaaS and ad-tech agreements, leveraging CLM tools such as Ironclad
Provide expert legal advice to internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and product, to support business objectives while minimizing legal risks, using ticketing systems such as Jira to manage and track requests
Advise on data privacy and security issues related to SaaS and adtech offerings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Utilize Google Suite and Microsoft Office for collaboration, documentation, and reporting
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial contract law, with a focus on SaaS and ad-tech agreements
Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, as they relate to SaaS and ad-tech
Proven track record of successfully negotiating complex commercial contracts
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice to non-legal stakeholders
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Experience building and leveraging legal playbooks is a bonus
