Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the Senior Finance Officer & Controller, manages key financial reporting and analysis functions in alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and strategic goals
Analyzes and produces balance sheet and net interest income forecasts, including interest rate risk analysis, to support profitability objectives
Manages asset/liability modeling and prepares related analyses in coordination with external vendors; participates in Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO) meetings
Ensures the timely and accurate preparation of monthly and quarterly management and regulatory reports
Assists in the preparation, development, and ongoing analysis of operating and capital budgets, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
Responsible for liquidity and credit stress testing, including coordination with lending staff as needed
Calculates the monthly provision for credit losses and prepares related Allowance for Credit Losses on Loans (CECL) analyses and documentation
Develops and maintains effective internal controls, systems, and procedures, while staying current on accounting, regulatory, and industry developments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance
Minimum of five years of experience in bank accounting and finance
At least three years of experience in financial reporting, including working knowledge of GAAP within a banking environment
Experience with financial analysis, interest rate risk management, and investment securities
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
