Responsibilities
Collaborate with Project Managers, Design Team Lead, Senior Designers, and others to transform concepts into visual executions that articulate the Georgia Power brand and meet business objectives
Design a wide range of digital and print assets, including advertising, web and email assets, banner ads, signage, presentations, environmental graphics, and other media for internal and external audiences
Present work for review by Creative Team Lead, Senior Designers, and internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback into final assets
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring brand integrity across all channels and assets
Deliver projects that are accurate, timely, and aligned with Georgia Power’s brand voice
Share creative insights openly and contribute to a strong creative culture
Develop an understanding of the energy business and apply that knowledge to design work
Stay current with industry technologies, trends, tools, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from an accredited college
3–5 years of graphic design experience in an advertising agency, marketing/PR firm, or in-house agency
Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to break new ground with big ideas
Passion for human-centered problem solving and discovering true user needs
Ability to build brand equity through adherence to brand guidelines while meeting business objectives
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate creative decisions and point of view
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite with an understanding of graphic and web design principles
Understanding of current web technologies (HTML, CSS) and social media platforms
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while meeting critical timelines
Experience collaborating with senior creatives, including photo/video, web, print teams, and strategists
Ability to own projects from start to finish while welcoming feedback and collaboration
Strong portfolio demonstrating creative experience
Confidence in skill sets with flexibility to explore new and creative problem-solving approaches
Preferred
Digital illustration and animation experience (highly preferred)
