Responsibilities
Operate, set up, clean, and dismantle pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment in an OSD environment
Support manufacturing activities including granulation, compression, encapsulation, coating, and drying
Perform batch sampling and accurately complete production documentation
Follow cGMP, FDA, SOPs, and safety guidelines at all times
Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot operational issues
Maintain a clean and organized production area
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, Lean, and Six Sigma activities
Support material handling and inventory movement (forklift use where applicable)
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree
1–3 years of experience in a labor-intensive or manufacturing environment
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
3–7 years of OSD pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
Hands-on experience with solid dose processes
7+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing (cGMP) experience
Certification or demonstrated proficiency in assigned manufacturing area
Strong background in Oral Solid Dose (OSD) manufacturing
Experience with one or more of the following: Compression, Granulation, Encapsulation, Wurster Coating, Coating, Fluid Bed Dryers, Bead Tower
Hands-on experience with equipment such as: Fette 3200i, Fette P 3030, MG2 Planeta, Korsch XM 12
Knowledge of FDA regulations, cGMP, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Basic math, reading, writing, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Forklift certification
