Carolina International Trucks Inc. is looking for experienced Leasing Technicians at our Columbia location. The role involves performing repairs on diesel equipment, diagnosing malfunctions, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient service.

Transportation

Responsibilities

Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair
Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts
Save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by customer
Road tests vehicles when required
Participates in manufacturer sponsored training programs, schools and events
Keep abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins
Maintains and is accountable for all dealership- owned tools and manuals

Qualification

Diesel engine maintenanceClass B CDL licenseDiagnostic programsA/C system knowledgeASE certificationHand tools proficiencyTroubleshooting skillsCommunication skills

Required

3 years of proven diesel engine maintenance experience
Valid Class B CDL license with a clean driving record
Possess own tools to perform work on all systems on diesel equipment
Must be able to use a variety of hand held tools and equipment associated with repair work
Knowledge on A/C system, brake system, emission systems, air systems and diagnostics / trouble shooting of diesel engines
Computer skills with ability to use diagnostic programs such as EZ-Tech, Cummings Quick Serve, Diamond Logic, etc
Willingness to maintain required on-line training throughout employment

ASE certification preferred
