Responsibilities

Managing efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scoping, development, design, construction, and direction of civil works projects in the district
Exhibiting and applying extensive knowledge of management concepts, methods, practices, and processes of planning, engineering, and scientific practices, as well as methods, practices, and processes of planning, real estate acquisition and management, engineering, construction, and negotiation disciplines
Integrating sponsor/customer requirements and participation into a comprehensive management plan that is fully coordinated with all contributing agencies and organizations, including various functional elements within the district
Establishes responsibilities, sets expectations, and controls/manages assigned project budgets and schedules to ensure that District commitments to the sponsor/customer are met
Serving as the district's primary point of contact for sponsor/customers and other external agencies on assigned projects

Required

To be eligible for a reassignment or promotion to the GS-13 grade level, applicants must demonstrate performing specialized experience for one year at the GS-12 level (or equivalent)
Program/Project Manager (PPM) Career Development Plan (CDP) Level 1 certification is required
All positions require the applicant to be a citizen of the United States
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, are required to register for Selective Service prior to appointment
A trial or probationary period may be required
Direct deposit of pay is required
This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time
This position requires that the incumbent possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possession to operate vehicles
