Responsibilities

Partner with the Chief Operating Officer to achieve operational efficiency and performance goals
Serve as the primary liaison between the branch network and executive leadership for operational initiatives and issues
Act as a liaison between branch staff and Deposit Operations to ensure effective collaboration between front-office and back-office teams
Collaborate with the Deposit Operations Manager and Sales & Service Coordinator to optimize fiscal, operational, and compliance performance
Conduct operational reviews of branch locations and present findings to executive management
Monitor and maintain branch operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Recommend, plan, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency across the organization
Provide resolution, guidance, and coaching to branches on operational matters
Identify opportunities to improve operational practices and procedures
Lead operational training for new Personal Bankers, Assistant Operations Managers, and Operations Managers to ensure organizational standards are met or exceeded
Partner with branch managers to support coaching, performance management, and professional development of branch staff
Travel to branch locations as needed for training, coaching, and operational support
Serve as Operations Manager for the Main Office, with support from Assistant Operations Manager(s)
Directly manage and develop Main Office staff to ensure operational excellence and strong customer service

Required

Typically 5–10 years of banking operations experience, including leadership and management responsibilities
Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams within a sales-driven environment
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to innovate, motivate, and inspire teams
Demonstrated ability to quickly assess business situations and take effective action to achieve positive outcomes

Preferred

College degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree at management's discretion
