Responsibilities
Owning the technical engagement around specific implementation projects
Providing best practices to customers
Developing deep expertise in AWS technologies and how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform
Being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services
Providing exceptional technical design and thought leadership to our customers
Leading efforts to capture and share best-practices within the AWS Solution Architect community
Qualification
Required
8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Ability to travel 30%
Candidate selected must be a US citizen due to federal government contract clearance requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain the federal government clearance required by the contract
Preferred
5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
Experience working with end user or developer communities
