Tactical Data Link (TDL) Instructor

Responsibilities

Develop curriculum, conduct instruction, and maintain JID courses
Liaison with operational Combatant Commander staffs for exercise planning and preparation
Prepare or review OPTASK LINK messages for use in JTO exercises
Assist in selection, modification, or request of Link 16 networks to support JTO exercises
Perform analysis of multi-TDL architecture performance and institute changes based on observations
Coordinate with development and acquisition agencies for procurement of, and evaluate JICO automated tools
Maintain configuration management of the JICO automated tools
Represent JID at joint and combined interoperability working groups
Provide course planning and administration, which includes development and maintenance of schedules, scheduling hands-on field training, student briefs, handouts and administrative documents, and student notification processes
Develop, instruct, revise, and maintain JID course materials
Perform curriculum reviews, courseware development, and multimedia enhancements, especially in an electronic classroom
Support world-wide deployed mobile training team requirements

Required

4 years of Multi TDL experience and training
Military instructor experience
Capable of worldwide deployment supporting Mobile Training Teams, often under field conditions
Associate Degree or one year of related experience may be substituted for each year of the required education
Secret Security Clearance

Preferred

ISD or curriculum development experience
