Responsibilities
The MA will act as the primary point of contact for the company’s ICG Design Galleries, and will be available to assist Inside Sales and Gallery Attendants for Marketing needs— including the entry and oversight of Marketing-related maintenance orders for the Galleries, system execution for remodels, and performing sample order fulfillments, ensuring that the Galleries are well-stocked with merchandising materials and loose sample pieces
The MA will also perform daily tasks related to the company’s Swatchbox sample program. This program is in its early stages, and the MA will be key in ensuring its success by monitoring the program, performing ad hoc and scheduled reporting tasks, managing the Swatchbox sample stock and ensuring sample refill orders are placed in a timely fashion, and overseeing the stock management of merchandising materials stocked with Swatchbox
For the annual tradeshows that the company participates in, the MA will handle all hotel bookings, working to ensure that all needs are met and that travel arrangements are smoothly and sufficiently managed. The MA will also be on hand to assist the Marketing Manager with any other administrative tasks related to the tradeshows
The MA will gain proficiency with the company’s in-house system, and will be expected to perform all scheduled and ad hoc sample and merchandising reporting for the ICG brand
The MA will also perform day-to-day marketing tasks, in order to assist the Marketing Manger with any needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
1-3 years of relevant experience in a creative or marketing environment, preferably within a design-focused industry (e.g., interiors, home goods, building materials)
Experience with coordinating and scheduling complex domestic and international travel arrangements, both for individuals and for large groups
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality products
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Cooperative and friendly, willing to ask questions and take initiative in projects
Preferred
Industry knowledge and relevant experience in the industry is a plus – as is experience in a Marketing support or operational role
