GMP Floor Care Technician

ISS Facility Services - North America is seeking a GMP Floor Care Technician to maintain the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpets in various areas. The role involves performing sanitizations, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring cleanliness in assigned spaces.

Responsibilities

Perform sanitizations per GMP regulations in production areas (Mop and/ or wipe floors, wall ceilings, curtains, etc.)
Wear Full PPE for extended periods of time
Strictly adhere to Safety and GMP SOPs and perform related documentation clearly and legibly
Floor care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing, and burnishing on hard surface floors and stairwells
Routine restroom cleaning
Maintenance of floor care equipment
Follow impairment procedures prior to performing work
Document all floor cleaning per the schedule provided
Perform daily audits to ensure floors maintain aesthetic appearance
Position requires shift, weekend, and holiday work; Overtime may be required at times

Required

Ability to read, write, speak English, and communicate effectively
Minimum 1 ½ years' experience in floor care
High School diploma or equivalent education
Knowledge of how to strip, wax, and burnish floors with minimal to no assistance
Knowledge and experience operating various pieces of equipment such as high-speed buffers, extractors, wet vacs, pressure washers, and auto scrubbers
Must be a team player and committed to working in a quality environment
Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills
Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
Maintain clean work area
Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
Take direction and respond to supervision
Communicate with the lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers professionally
Fill in during staff shortage
Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
Use proper personal protective equipment
Present a professional appearance and conduct
Understand customer service and satisfaction
Understand reporting systems and the environment
Instilling trust

Must be able to push and pull a minimum of 30 pounds
Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 to 50 pounds
Frequently lift 0-10 pounds
Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
Must be able to work in controlled environment with special gowning
No make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish or artificial fingernails allowed
All employees must adhere to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment

Preferred

Related GMP manufacturing experience is preferred
Janitorial or laborer experience in a facility setting is preferred
