Aviva Senior Living is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee daily operations and long-term operational strategy. Responsibilities

Provide strategic and hands-on leadership for all operational departments including Dining Services, Building and Environmental Services, Life Enrichment, Resident Services, and Information Technology
Develop and implement operational policies and performance standards that support the community
Collaborate with CFO to develop and manage annual budgets for all operational departments
Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies and cost savings without compromising resident needs
Support the CEO and Board in executing strategic plans, capital improvement projects, and long-range community development
Support technology initiatives to elevate operational performance and resident engagement
Collaborate with CPCO to support recruitment, workforce planning, training, and retention strategies
Lead, mentor, and evaluate direct reports to build a team focused on delivering high quality hospitality for residents
Work closely with leadership team members to achieve community-wide objectives
Build relationships internally and externally and with vendors and community partners

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field
Florida Nursing Home Administrator License required or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
Three to five years' progressive leadership experience in senior living or other healthcare environment
Strong operational and business acumen with a resident-first mindset
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Must have operated a multi-functional business in a fiscally responsible way
Strong working knowledge of the cultural differentiators within a faith-based, mission driven organization and the impact that culture has on business operations. Ability to support organizational values
Strong project management skills, critical thinking skills with proven ability to establish goals, timelines and action plans as well as follow-through
Passion for the mission of the organization; outgoing, highly visible and accessible
Always striving for excellence, continuous improvement and alignment with the organizational strategy
Organized and focused on multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
