Representing clients in Tax Court, during IRS examinations, and throughout the appeals process
Managing voluntary disclosures, offshore asset reporting, and innocent spouse claims
Crafting and securing installment agreements and Offers in Compromise (OIC)
Contributing to our firm’s niche expertise in syndicated conservation easements and ERTC claims
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Experience in tax law, including federal and state tax cases
Strong advocacy and litigation skills
Ability to manage complex tax compliance issues
Excellent negotiation skills
Empathy and strong communication skills to guide clients through stressful situations
Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of a diverse caseload
