Retail Applications Business Analyst - POS
The Connors Group is seeking a Retail Applications Business Analyst specializing in Point of Sale systems. The role involves providing operational support, facilitating project delivery, and managing vendor and stakeholder relationships to enhance retail IT systems.
Responsibilities
Serve as the lead for technical and business support across all retail IT systems
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents regarding store applications, hardware, and integrated solutions
Identify and implement improvements to reduce incident volume and accelerate resolution times
Coordinate and host regular support meetings to address ongoing technical issues and system enhancements
Coordinate 2nd and 3rd level support with the Global Retail IT Team and various local/global partners
Facilitate the rollout of retail IT initiatives, system upgrades, and new store opening projects
Configure, test, and validate retail solutions prior to store launches or major software rollouts
Collaborate with internal US and Headquarters IT teams, as well as external vendors, to identify opportunities for operational growth
Act as the liaison between IT, store operations, and vendors regarding all system requirements and enhancements
Work closely with vendors to test, install, and validate Point of Sale (POS) and related system modifications
Align local POS requests with the Global Core Template defined by the Global Retail IT team
Integrate system evolutions required by Brand HQ, Group Controlling, and Global Retail IT in coordination with international partners
Create and deliver "Key User" training sessions and comprehensive support documentation for store teams
Ensure seamless handovers to internal and external support teams to maintain consistent ongoing support
Qualification
Required
