Responsibilities
Capable of supporting the installation and programming of ElectroShades as well as startup and setup of the SolarTrac Automation system
Provide technical support, remotely or on-site, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues pertaining to mechanical, electrical, and software
Attend meetings with Operations, Dealer, EC, GC, IT, End User, etc
Documentation support- Drafters, Engineering, Marketing, Dealers, etc
Commission SolarTrac projects, remotely or on-site, thoroughly going through the checklist with the Mecho dealer
Assist in training facilities staff with operation and maintenance of automated systems
Perform Maintenance health checks and inspections, remotely or on-site, producing a detailed report
Liaison with Engineering on unresolved mechanical, electrical, or software issues
Record recurring issues and communicate information to engineering with suggestions for fixes where possible
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree with relevant experience, bachelor's degree in a Technical, Electrical, IT, or Engineering field preferred
5+ years' experience with one or more of the following: Audio Visual, Security, CCTV, Lighting, Automation systems
Excellent technical and communication skills
Capable of reading schematics and troubleshooting systems
Onsite presence is preferred for this role, and regular travel is required
In-depth familiarity with standard hard wired and bus control technologies
Familiarity with multimeters, CAT 5/6 crimping tools, cable testers
Ability to read construction drawings
Preferred
Experience with motor control electronics, is a plus
Database knowledge, is a plus
