Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for government customers
Build trusted relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and execution credibility
Lead internal and external program reviews and status briefings
Manage customer expectations and proactively identify and resolve issues
Own full lifecycle program execution from contract award through delivery/close
Plan and manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk
Ensure delivery of all contractual requirements including SOWs, CDRLs, and milestones
Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and finance
Execute programs in compliance with FAR/DFARS, contract terms, and company policies
Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., ITAR/EAR, cybersecurity, quality)
Manage contract changes, modifications, and customer-directed actions
Maintain accurate program reporting and forecasting
Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and maintain program risk register
Escalate issues appropriately to leadership with recommended mitigation plans
Drive corrective actions to closure
Support capture, recompete, and program growth efforts through performance data and customer insight
Identify opportunities for follow-on work, program expansion, or additional value delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Program Management, or related field
5+ years of program or project management experience
Strong understanding of government contracting fundamentals
Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional technical programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level briefings
U.S. citizenship required due to government contract requirements
Preferred
Experience managing UAV, aerospace, defense, robotics, or ISR systems
Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, CDRLs, and government program reporting
Experience with cost-type, firm-fixed-price, or IDIQ contracts
PMP or equivalent certification
Experience working directly with DoD, military services, federal law enforcement, or intelligence customers
