Responsibilities
Support daily accounting activities including data entry, AP/AR, and account reconciliations
Review and verify ACH payments for accuracy and proper processing
Manage accounting documents including invoices, receipts, and statements in our digital filing system
Handle new vendor setup including W-9s, vendor agreements, and required documentation
Track, review, and follow up on vendor and carrier insurance certificates to ensure compliance
Communicate with internal teams, vendors, truckers, and insurance companies to collect missing or updated documentation
Open, sort, and route incoming mail and assist with outgoing payments
Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required
Comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Reliable, trainable, and receptive to feedback
Professional handling of confidential information
Preferred
Associate's degree in Accounting or related field
Prior experience in accounting support, administrative roles, or vendor management
