Outside Sales Representative (California/North Bay)
Core Group Resources is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to manage a designated territory and customer base. The role focuses on ensuring customer satisfaction, driving new business growth, and meeting sales goals through regular customer engagement and technical support.

Responsibilities
Set and manage sales objectives, goals, and forecasts for the assigned region
Conduct regular customer visits to understand their needs and drive sales within the territory
Work closely with customer teams to specify and apply industrial products, providing product training and support
Strengthen relationships with current customers while identifying opportunities for new business growth
Serve as a point of contact for customer disputes, collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely resolutions
Report on sales activities, market trends, customer feedback, and progress toward achieving goals
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of success in a technical or engineering role within an industrial environment, preferably involving valves, flow control, or related products. Sales experience may also be considered
Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to actively listen, clarify customer needs, and deliver clear explanations
Proven ability to build and maintain lasting customer relationships
Capable of working independently, setting personal goals, and taking initiative
Understanding of industrial equipment applications and the ability to address customer needs effectively
Resourceful and proactive in identifying solutions to customer challenges
Willingness to travel up to 25% within the designated territory
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience with a high school diploma will also be considered
