Responsibilities
Responsible for the quality of deliverables provided and performance of contract watch standers
Manages watch functions, processes, and information flow
Maintains situational awareness of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) related events, incidents, and threats
Prioritizes tasks and efforts and coordinates information gathering and reporting with other Federal Protective Service (FPS) Elements
Conducts training for all watch personnel and shifts to ensure compliance with production and watch activity guidelines
Assures and controls production and service quality as related to communications, information transmission, and data/information presentation
Qualification
Required
Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions
May collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, service, or products
May develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation
Develops training programs and implements training modules for Senior and Junior Watch officers and data analysts
Identifies and administers formal and ad hoc training sessions, exercise, and evaluations
Responsible for the quality of deliverables provided and performance of contract watch standers
Manages watch functions, processes, and information flow
Maintains situational awareness of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) related events, incidents, and threats

12 years of experience in operation centers, emergency management, dispatch, first responder (law enforcement/fire/rescue) or related work with 8 of the 12 years in Management
Minimum requirement of a BA/BS Degree
An active DOD Secret Clearance is required
Preferred
A Program/Project Manager certification is desired for this position
