Responsibilities
Reviews and processes teacher and administrator certification requests for state and local educators via the Louisiana Educator Portal
Reviews and addresses daily certification inquiries, providing accurate information and guidance on certification policies and requirements
Assist in the development and implementation of certification guidelines impacting Louisiana teachers and leaders
Ensures proper interpretation and consistent application of certification policies across internal and external audiences
Qualification
Required
Five years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services
Six years of full-time work experience plus two years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services
A bachelor's degree plus two years of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services
An advanced degree plus one year of experience in education, teaching, or administrative services
Experience working with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets)
Prior experience using case management systems or electronic databases for tracking, processing, and retrieving records
Familiarity with educator certification processes or state regulatory compliance work
Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in preparing clear, accurate responses and documentation
Demonstrated skill in working independently and with discretion, while also functioning effectively as part of a team
