They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Associate – Histology to support the development of their FFPE Biorepository, ensuring accurate sample handling and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
Ensure the quality of all services, data, and information being sent to customers and pathologists
Ensure that all HIPPA requirements are followed
Pseudonymization of samples
Display key attention to detail while handling samples
Create and manage cases and review batches in image viewing platform
File inventory samples in alphanumerical order
Develop, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards within the FFPE Department
Collaborate with Pathologists, laboratory services, IT, and Project Managers to identify, prevent and resolve problems
Collaborate with company departments, clients, and vendors through email and video meetings in a professional manner
Edit, create, and manage excel spreadsheets and generated system reports
Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the company and its operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required; preferably in a life science
Ability to handle high stress situations with ease while maintaining a positive and productive attitude
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Must have a willingness to be a great teammate
Preferred
Previous Histology or Pathology background preferred
SalesForce.com experience preferred
