Responsibilities

Develop and deploy the next generation of strategic military satellite communications capabilities
Assist the government as the Lead Systems Integrator ensuring the space, ground and crypto segments are integrated successfully to meet user’s needs
Provide direct support to the chief engineer and manage the Booz Allen engineering team supporting the program office

Required

15+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration in DoD satellite systems or ground systems
5+ years of experience with space system and DoD program reviews, including SRR, SDR and SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, or PCA
2+ years of experience with performing the risk management process on space-related Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, software, or hardware system
Experience with identifying, analyzing, and proposing program risks, issues, opportunities, and managing handling plans
Experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Experience using a Model-Based Systems Engineering or Digital Engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
Ability to effectively communicate, work collaboratively on a cross functional team, work independently, and demonstrate initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast-paced environment
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science

Preferred

2+ years of experience with Military Satellite Communications Mission area
2+ years of experience with space acquisition
Experience with a software program utilizing Agile methodologies
Experience with Confluence or JIRA
Experience working with software factories or DevSecOps pipelines
Ability to learn and solve problems quickly and creatively
Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
Agile Certification, such as CSM, CPO, PMI-ACP, or ICP
INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP
