This role is critical to driving application modernization, digital transformation, and enterprise architecture initiatives across the bank.

Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders across Retail, Commercial, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to define and evolve enterprise architecture strategies aligned with banking goals
Develop and maintain business capability models, value streams, and process architectures tailored to financial services
Lead application modernization initiatives, including legacy system assessments, cloud migration strategies, and adoption of modern platforms (microservices, APIs, containers)
Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, solution architects, and engineering teams to ensure cohesive, scalable delivery of modernized applications
Facilitate cross-functional workshops to identify capability gaps, regulatory impacts, and transformation opportunities
Support strategic planning, investment prioritization, and portfolio governance for IT initiatives
Ensure architectural alignment with banking regulations (FFIEC, OCC, FDIC), data privacy standards, and internal governance frameworks
Evaluate emerging technologies (AI, cloud-native platforms, low-code tools) for applicability across banking operations
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in IT architecture, business architecture, or senior business analysis within banking or financial services
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of banking operations, products, and regulatory environments
Proven experience leading application modernization in a regulated setting
Hands-on experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, BIZBOK) and business capability modeling
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive, business, and technical stakeholders
Preferred
Certifications such as TOGAF, CBAP, Certified Business Architect (CBA), or PMP
Experience with core banking transformation, digital onboarding, open banking, or cloud-native architectures
Familiarity with architecture and portfolio tools such as LeanIX, Ardoq, or Sparx EA
Experience working within agile or hybrid delivery models
