They are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their accounting team, responsible for various accounting tasks including general ledger support and month-end close procedures.

Marketing & Advertising

Responsibilities

Review and process AP invoices for completeness, accuracy, correct account coding, and appropriate approval
Process weekly and ad-hoc vendor checks and ACH payments
Review and process employee expense reports via Concur
Process customer invoices and credit memos
Upload customer invoices to portals for payment
Process customer credit card payments
Provide backup support for cash receipts application
Perform monthly closing tasks, including reconciling general ledger accounts
Maintain and update various accounting spreadsheets
Run and review daily accounting reports as needed
Assist with audit-related data requests
Organize and maintain filing systems
Support other accounting duties as assigned

Required

Solid understanding of accounting principles; strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Highly organized with strong analytical skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong problem-solving skills and active listening abilities
Ability to prioritize and meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines
Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general office technology
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
1–2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping
