Responsibilities
Drive project execution: setting clear milestones, anticipating constraints, and keeping teams aligned to deliver high-quality work on schedule
Lead the project team on the development of innovative and efficient architectural designs that align with the client’s needs, vision, and budget
Evaluate team’s skills and capabilities to assign and organize responsibilities, tasks to streamline processes and meet deadlines
Provide guidance and feedback to project team members, to assist in their growth and ensure the design and technical standards are met
Act as a central point of leadership between clients, consultants, and contractors—translating goals into coordinated, buildable solutions
Prepare and review design presentations, drawings, and specifications to ensure all architectural drawings and documents meet technical and quality standards
Coordinate with engineers to integrate all systems and materials effectively into the project. Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards
Provides Technical and design support during construction administration and construction processes meet high standards of quality, safety, and performance
Identify and resolve issues or challenges that arise during the design and construction phases, including changes in scope or unforeseen technical challenges
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture
10-15 years of professional experience; well-rounded in all aspects of a project including design, technical detailing and management
Experience across multiple commercial real estate sectors including Multifamily, Hospitality and Mixed-Use
Current Licensed Architect Preferred
Collaborative workstyle with the ability to mentor, guide, and coach junior staff
Strong time management skills, well organized and creative problem solver
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities, sometimes with competing deadlines
Proficiency in Revit with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience with wood construction is beneficial
