Regional Manager, Sales
OpenGov Inc. is the leader in AI and ERP solutions for local and state governments in the U.S. The Regional Manager, Sales will be responsible for leading a territory, driving revenue growth, acquiring new customers, and managing a team of Account Executives to achieve regional sales targets.

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Account Executives to achieve sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners within the assigned region
Strong understanding of our products, industry trends, and competitors to support business growth and contribute to customer engagement, sales, and revenue targets
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and increase market share
Recruit, hire, train, and continually develop a high-performing sales team
Encourage team collaboration and a positive, solution-oriented mindset to tackle challenges and identify new business opportunities
Develop and oversee the sales process, ensuring consistent execution and adherence to best practices. Support Account Executives through the sales cycles, actively engaging from initial outreach to deal closure
Accurately forecast sales performance and provide regular reports on sales activities and results
Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Solution Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to drive revenue growth
Report on sales activities and forecasts to senior management
Travel within the region as needed to meet with customers, attend conferences and trade shows, and support team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, marketing, or related field
5+ years of direct selling experience, selling SaaS, B2B, and enterprise software to VP, SVP, and C-Level Executives
Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Strong leadership and coaching skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
Strong understanding of sales methodologies and techniques
Ability to travel up to 50% or more within the assigned region
Preferred
Experience leading high-performance teams is preferred
