Responsibilities
Address control problems by fine-tuning and implementing basic or advanced control strategies
Collaborate with operations, plant engineers, and maintenance teams, applying knowledge of system configuration tools and understanding of the plant process
Lead the execution of control systems migrations, upgrades, and revision updates
Support and develop programs related to company cybersecurity standards
Participate in incident investigations involving DCS and SIS systems, ensuring follow-up recommendations are implemented
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering; Instrumentation, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
Minimum of five years of experience system controls / system operations
Minimum two years of controls experience in Refinery/Chemical environment
Technical knowledge in the fundamentals of controls engineering and controls systems
Competencies in Industrial Instrumentation, including Industrial Analyzers, Distributed Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, and Safety Instrumented Systems
DCS/PLC configuration experience
