Responsibilities
Develop and optimize CNC programs for lathes and milling machines using Fanuc, SolidWorks, and CAM programming software
Interpret blueprints and schematics to create precise machining instructions
Utilize GD&T (geometric Dimensional and Tolerancing) principles to ensure accuracy in production
Conduct setup and operation of CNC equipment while adhering to safety protocols
Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for quality control checks
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and refine processes as necessary
Qualification
Required
Strong background in CNC programming and machining
Experience in operating CNC lathes and milling machines
Proficiency in various programming languages and software
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and precision measurement techniques
Develop and optimize CNC programs for lathes and milling machines using Fanuc, SolidWorks, and CAM programming software

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively
Experience in utilizing precision measuring instruments for quality assurance
Proficiency in math and geometry as it relates to machining operations
Preferred
Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques is a plus
