Responsibilities
Design and develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, and REST APIs
Responsible for the entire SDLC including Building, developing, Testing and supporting code
Build microservices architecture and deploy using Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, and Jenkins
Implement front-end components with React, Angular, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
Work with large-scale data platforms using Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, and Zookeeper
Create and manage databases using Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra
Perform data integration and scripting using Python, SQL, Shell scripts
Deploy applications on cloud platforms, especially AWS (EC2, S3, MSK, EventBridge)
Implement observability and monitoring using Splunk, Dynatrace, and Kibana
Ensure software quality with JUnit, Cucumber, Karate, and JMeter
Collaborate in Agile squads, contribute to technical design, and participate in code reviews
Qualification
Required
MSc with 3+ years OR BSc with 5+ years of relevant experience
Expertise in: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs
Microservices architecture
Cloud platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, MSK, EventBridge), Terraform
Big data: Spark, Hive, Hadoop, Kafka
Frontend: React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
Databases: Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra
DevOps tools: Docker, Jenkins, Maven, Git
Testing tools: JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, JMeter
Monitoring tools: Dynatrace, Kibana, Splunk
Comfort with Linux shell scripting and system automation
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Preferred
AI/Cloud certifications are a strong plus
Experience working in a regulated environment (Banking, Financial or Insurance companies and/or Government etc)
