EMS Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant EMS Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of Energy Management System projects to enhance energy performance and advance sustainability goals.

Responsibilities
Support the full EMS project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
Coordinate with engineering, IT, operations, and other internal teams to deploy EMS technologies and solutions
Assist in defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and performance metrics
Develop, update, and track project schedules, budgets, and documentation
Monitor project risks and issues; help implement mitigation strategies to maintain project progress
Ensure adherence to relevant energy regulations, industry standards, and organizational best practices
Prepare and deliver project updates, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership
Support vendor coordination and oversee third‑party contractors under the direction of the project manager
Participate in post‑implementation evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Minimum of an associate's degree (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 1 year of project management experience, preferably in energy systems, building automation, or related technical fields
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office Suite, Word and preferably Smartsheet
