Responsibilities
Act as the lead liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure business needs are accurately translated into technical solutions
Elicit, analyze, validate, and document functional and non-functional business requirements using multiple elicitation techniques (e.g., workshops, interviews, document analysis)
Review and update existing business requirements to ensure continued alignment with business objectives
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate workshops and working sessions with subject matter experts and stakeholders
Produce high-quality documentation including: Business requirements documents, Functional specifications, Process flows and workflow diagrams, Screen mock-ups, prototypes, and design artifacts
Translate business requirements into Epics, Features, and User Stories using tools such as Azure DevOps (or equivalent)
Support UX design for responsive web applications across desktop and mobile devices
Collaborate closely with senior technical analysts and developers to review designs, address feedback, and ensure adherence to standards and best practices
Quickly adapt to existing technical and business environments when joining ongoing projects
Demonstrate strong leadership by taking initiative, managing multiple priorities, and supporting project delivery timelines
Present solution understanding, workflows, and system functionality to project teams and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent related experience
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Senior Business Systems Analyst
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Lead BSA on complex, public-facing, custom software development projects
Minimum 5 years of experience authoring specifications, user stories, and GUI standards while acting as a liaison between business and technical teams
Demonstrated experience working with integrated systems of medium to large complexity
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Requirements elicitation and analysis

Custom web application analysis and design
UX and responsive design principles
Agile, waterfall, and hybrid project methodologies
Workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement
Azure DevOps or similar application lifecycle management tools
