They are seeking a Lab Technician to support the Quality Department by designing experiments, validating products, and conducting automotive testing to meet customer requirements and company standards.

Responsibilities
Design experiments and physical testing to meet customer specific objectives and performance requirements as well as VOSS standards
Validate VOSS products for customer applications following best practice guidelines
Plan, coordinate, and support test activities
Prepare timing estimates in support of project planning
Conduct on-vehicle instrumentation and set-up of mobile data acquisition systems
Perform automotive components or system removal and installation as necessary for evaluation of the product as used on the vehicle
Support multiple assignments and projects simultaneously
Follow and document test procedures
Prepare and set up the test equipment
Document test results and maintain records for later analysis
Maintain testing equipment and inventory of validation supplies
Validate product and components to meet functional, quality, and performance targets
Contribute to the achievement of quality/management objectives by ensuring that company policies, procedures, and processes are followed
Follow all Quality Management Systems, the Environmental Management Systems, and, when applicable to support VOSS Automotive Mexico in adhering to their systems as well
Participate in plant recycling programs
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associates' degree and/or experience and/or training in a test environment
Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
