Administration and support of multiple Windows Server / desktop closed networks
Assist in support of Cisco network devices
Assist in support of encryption devices
Assist in support of HP printers and scanners
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Information Security Technology -OR- 5+ years of IT System Admin experience
SECNAV M-5239.2 certification for Information Technology System Administrator or equivalent (e.g. CompTIA Security +)
3+ years of experience in systems administration
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance with SSBI
Preferred
Familiarity / experience with Red-Hat Enterprise Linux
Knowledge of application security using the Risk Management Framework
Knowledge of virtualization technologies and containers (VMWare Kubernetes and HyperVisor)
Some knowledge with scripting (primarily Powershell)
Some familiarity with Cisco (switches/routers), Networked Printers (HP, Canon)
Troubleshooting skills for systems and network issues to identify root cause and recommended remediation activities
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to time manage multiple projects
In-depth knowledge and experience with Windows server (2016 and newer) and desktop (Win10 and newer) networked systems
