Responsibilities
Collaborate with the broader finance team as you analyze financial results and compile key performance statistics and other relevant information for strategic use and impact across Vontier’s earnings calendar and strategic communications mechanisms. This includes regular formal and informal engagements with our investors along with our public earnings disclosures and quarterly investor community calls
Thoughtfully prepare and coordinate quarterly earnings deliverables and other investor materials including corporate presentations, press releases, conference call scripts and Q&A documents
Monitor peer activity and provide insights to company leadership including news releases, earnings calls, key sellside research reports, and other relevant investor community analyses
Administer CRM database to ensure entry of all shareholder meetings and that meeting notes are complete for all meetings with analysts, investors and other stakeholders
Monitor and assess changes in trends of the institutional ownership of company stock
Act as the knowledge expert, analyze economic and sector updates, analyst research, investor sentiment, and competitor activity to deliver actionable insights to the investor relations and senior leadership teams
Efficiently and professionally respond to inbound investor inquiries. Participate in investor and analyst calls/meetings when feasible
Assist in managing all aspects of third-party resource relationships leveraged by the investor relations team
Assist in research pertaining to the field of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), including the various frameworks and reporting standards, and contributing to the strategic development and communication of the Company

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
2-3 years of related business experience, preferably in investor relations, corporate FP&A, corporate development or equity research
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills are required
Ability to interface at high levels of the organization to deploy strategy
Solid financial analysis and modeling skills (forecasting, valuation, scenario analysis) with strong Excel proficiency
Strong project management skills and be adaptable to shifting responsibilities and priorities in a dynamic environment
Experience preparing investor materials (earnings decks, investor presentations, fact sheets) and regulatory filings/earnings releases
Flexible, self-starter able to anticipate the needs of the leadership team
Demonstrate humility and ability to collaborate across business functions and operating companies
Works well in a fast-paced, quickly evolving environment
Strong organizational skills and work ethic, pragmatic in approach
High integrity, confidentiality, adaptability, and resilience—able to respond to volatility or crisis communications
Ability to influence and build strong cross-functional relationships
Preferred
MBA is a plus but not required
Strong Excel proficiency is desired
