Responsibilities

Manage tooling inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and availability
Lead and participate in tooling-related project management initiatives
Track and manage tooling orders, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness
Plan and execute comprehensive tool testing to validate performance and quality
Conduct thorough tooling cost analysis to identify savings and efficiency opportunities
Manage and maintain CAD drawings for tooling designs and modifications
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with tooling vendors and suppliers
Collaborate effectively with production and engineering teams to resolve issues and implement tooling enhancements

Required

High School Diploma or GED
5 or more years of experience in engineering/plant manufacturing experience

Preferred

Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
Collaborative mindset and team building attitude
Experience with various machining processes such as broaching, hobbing, grinding, honing, turning, polishing and automation
Effective oral and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Experience with project management
Experience with suppliers and inventory systems
Experience with cost analysis
Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience with 3D printing capabilities
