Responsibilities
Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies and processes and always acting safely
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with company goals and organic/F&B certification requirements
Manage relationships with organic suppliers, producers, and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective services
Review and provide strategic input for new and renewal vendor contracts providing accompanying management summaries throughout the process
Engage in planning meetings and ongoing strategy implementation planning for key supplier partnerships and utilization
Support onboarding of new organic vendors and maintain approved vendor list
Manage and oversee process for seamless transition of billing services for suppliers of new accounts
Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant organic standards, regulations, and tracking requirements
Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and sustainability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer excellence, finance/accounting, business development, and sales
Develop key partnerships with operations teams
Track key performance metrics and provide analytical reports for senior management
Expected Travel 25%+ expected of role

Qualification
Required
High School or Equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience providing collaborative solutions or supply chain management in a contract sourcing environment
Strong understanding of legal terminology, organic certification processes, regulatory requirements, and strategic contract concepts
Ability to balance and deliver multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement
Strong Microsoft Office Skills, advanced Excel skills beneficial
Proficiency with supply chain management and data analysis tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with experience building and maintaining professional relationships across teams in a collaborative manner
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Must practice effective time management skills and follow through timely on requests
Must take initiative and work independently and with a team
Able to effectively work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree Supply Chain Management, Business Logistics, or related field
Proven experience managing supply chain functions, preamble within the organics or food/beverage industry
Hands-on knowledge of IS2 (HIS internal system) is beneficial
