Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java , Spring Boot , and related frameworks
Implement scalable, secure, and performant backend services aligned with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles
Collaborate with architects to define bounded contexts, aggregates, and domain models
Integrate with databases, messaging, and external systems using modern integration patterns
Build reusable libraries, components, and service templates for consistent API delivery
Implement error handling, logging, observability, and API standards (versioning, contracts, pagination)
Develop responsive, accessible, and performant React user interfaces
Implement reusable UI components, state management (Redux or similar), and client-side routing
Integrate UI with backend APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and error handling
Collaborate with UX designers to translate wireframes into production-ready experiences
Ensure consistency with design system, usability standards, and front-end best practices
Develop and maintain unit tests for backend and frontend using:
JUnit
Mockito
Jest , React Testing Library (frontend)
Playwright for E2E test automation
Support automated integration testing and API contract testing
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and high test coverage
Apply Domain-Driven Design to ensure business-aligned models and clear service boundaries
Participate in code reviews , architectural discussions, and design sessions
Follow secure coding guidelines and ensure compliance with enterprise security standards
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation
Contribute to performance tuning, instrumentation, and monitoring
Work closely with Product, UX, QA, and Architecture teams in an Agile environment
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Troubleshoot production issues and support root cause analysis when required
Qualification
Required
10+ years hands-on development
Full-stack capability (React + Java)
Strong React expertise for building modern, responsive UIs
Ability to contribute to backend when needed (Java, Spring Boot)
Familiarity with Playwright for E2E testing
Hands-on software development experience
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development
Expertise in React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and front-end engineering practices
Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts (entities, aggregates, value objects, domain events)
Experience writing unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, Jest, or React Testing Library
Experience writing E2E tests using Playwright or Cypress
Experience integrating APIs with front-end applications
Proficiency in Git, CI/CD workflows, and working in an Agile environment
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills
Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Jest, Playwright
CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Agile environment
Cloud exposure (AWS), containerization (Docker/OpenShift)
Domain-Driven Design (DDD) understanding
Preferred
Kafka experience (helpful but not mandatory)
Ability to guide team on design system and monorepo decisions
Experience with microservices or event-driven architecture
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with API gateway, service mesh, or messaging systems (Kafka, SNS/SQS)
Knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design
Experience with performance profiling and monitoring tools
Experience in wealth management / Financial services
