They are seeking two Geospatial Data Operations Specialists to support core data types for their mobile apps, focusing on data curation and quality control to ensure the best geospatial content for users.

Responsibilities
Manual curation within onX's web-based GIS editing platform of high-value datasets
Process spatial data within our established processing pipelines
Conduct quality control checks on spatial data to ensure accuracy and completeness
Communicate with the team leads to address any issues
Critically analyze existing processes and make suggestions for improvements
Provide support to ad hoc data processing needs
Qualification
Required
Certificate, Associate's Degree or Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Analysis or closely related field
Experience with desktop Geospatial software such as QGIS or ArcMap
Ability to follow instructions as provided in process documentation
Detail-oriented, highly organized self-starter
Patience for repetitive tasks
Ability to maintain a positive, helpful, constructive attitude
Ability to establish and maintain efficient working relationships with other onX employees
Desire to contribute to a strong team dynamic
Preferred
Experience working with cadastral, trails/transportation, and/or points of interest (POI) data
Experience with editing OpenStreetMap (OSM) data via the iD Editor
