Responsibilities
Manage and provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations
Assist in the recording and reporting of investment transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Support the preparation of financial statements and monthly reporting packages
Collaborate with team members to gather and organize client data for reporting purposes
Contribute to the technical development of the team by sharing knowledge and best practices
Seek feedback and guidance from team leadership to enhance personal and team performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in tax and/or accounting, preferably in investment accounting
Experience in analyzing financial data including trading of securities and investments and an understanding of trading terms related to securities trading and investing
Excellent communication skills, oral and written, using a consultative approach and demonstrating an ability to clearly communicate expectations
Demonstrated ability to lead a team to achieve results and be solution oriented
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn firm-specific technologies
Experience with analyzing and solving problems
Experience working with business, management and technology concepts
Demonstrate project management, teaming, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience at creating a positive continual learning environment for team members
Ability to address escalated issues or engage others to provide guidance
Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Confident at effectively guiding in a virtual or distributed team environment (this means flexible and fast paced, as the task requires)
Ability to effectively own and manage others working on concurrent projects, and prioritize multiple tasks, including multi-location coordination
Adept at summarizing and concluding activities, applying appropriate documentation standards
