Responsibilities
Collaborate with executives and other analysts to identify enterprise-wide solutions, adhering to SDLC and best practices
Conduct impact analysis of technology changes and provide recommendations
Lead business process improvement initiatives
Coordinate with project managers, architects, and developers to ensure on-time delivery
Build and maintain workflows, process maps, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Maintain compliance with IT standards, security policies, and best practices
Coordinate project plans and resource assignments; advise on deviations
Manage end-to-end requirements lifecycle, ensuring projects align with organizational goals and impact across business areas is considered
Lead elicitation, documentation, analysis, and translation of business requirements
Recommend tools, processes, and software solutions; ensure the integrity of requirements
Participate in vendor and user group activities to enhance solutions
Support QA, user acceptance testing, and release activities, and write SQL queries regularly
Regularly tackle complex tasks requiring specialized skills and judgment
Analyze and troubleshoot system issues and recommend viable improvements
Provide guidance to development staff and junior analysts; mentor junior and mid-level analysts
Qualification
Required
8+ years in IT/business analysis or related roles
Experience working as a Lead Analyst on multiple large-scale projects (1500+ hours)
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, independently and collaboratively
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
Solid understanding of business applications, HTML, SQL, data modeling, interface design, and system integration
Experience with SQL, programming, and Microsoft Office
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms
Experience mentoring staff, facilitating cross-functional teams, and guiding project execution
Preferred
Training in ITIL, COBIT, and Agile
