Entry, Mid LevelGray Media is a multimedia company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and they are seeking a full-time Broadcast Engineer for their Technology Department at WTOC in Savannah, GA. The Broadcast Engineer will support all technical aspects of broadcast facilities, troubleshoot and maintain broadcast RF, AV, and IT systems, and ensure equipment operates correctly during live events.

Responsibilities
Performs regular maintenance of broadcast and IT support systems
Support engineering aspects for studio production, post-production, and remote field-production events and programs
Maintain advanced knowledge of current broadcast equipment, technology, and software
Ensures all equipment is operating correctly before and during live event telecasts - corrects and documents technical problems
Cross-trains other members of the technical staff and improves/updates facility documentation
Qualification
Required
Experience with professional audio/video equipment, software, and techniques
Knowledge of control-room automation and newsroom software is a plus
Proficient with the latest computer operating systems, networking, and IP addressing
Ability to learn and adapt quickly under pressure, while maintaining efficiency and composure
Must possess a positive work attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well with others
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks while maintaining quality standards
Must be able to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are mandatory
Applicants should be capable of performing basic physical tasks involving bending/lifting up to 50lbs
Occasional travel required, and working outdoors in a limited capacity under a variety of weather conditions
Preferred
A bachelor's Degree or similar certification is preferred, but is not required
